***I’m guessing Soma***

Nope, but I take Soma with my med often. It has gone up in price also and is now classed as a dangerous drug requiring a signature... I don't mind signing since in 25+ years I have never abused it but it strikes me as a bit odd. I trade off somewhat and use another muscle relaxant besides Soma: parafon forte, just to prevent building a tolerance to the Soma. It does not require a signature. I laugh and tell the pharmacist that I may be the only user in the state! šŸ˜‡

My doctor is a fan of tramadol (Ultram) for pain management; it is helpful for some pain - not curative - but of little use for my spinal injury. Last time we talked he said he would write for more tramadol. sigh

Interestingly I just tried CBD for the first time this week - low dose twice a day. It may be helping with the spinal injury, too early to tell.

I am sorry, I was not being coy with my main pain med - it is butalbital. I just don't think most people have heard of it. My last neurosurgeon looked surprised when I told him that I take it; "The migraine medicine" he asked? Yep! It is specifically designed to deal with my cervical injury - which is rather severe. He did a fusion two years ago... helped for a while.
