I remember dime stores! They actually carried merchandise that you could buy for a dime, unlike just getting dimes back with your small change. There was a dime store next door to the bank where I had a couple hundred bucks in a savings account that paid 5.5% interest.
👍Yep you got it. They still have one in Branson, but of course prices are inflated to today’s rates.
Priced in silver dimes (and change pre 65 overall), most of the stuff is still close to if not cheaper than then.
