Is he back to being the VP (that would be a travesty) or is/has another person been selected? What are Pence’s legal rights since he was on the ticket? Does he have any?

If it follows my speculation, and the legal election is re-instated then, yes, Pence becomes VP.
His actions pursuant to that will be of his own choosing.
Trump will allow him opportunity to stay or leave.
All-the-while knowing what he did and his intent behind those actions.
And, that Pence will not be allowed to be a Deep State “sleeper” any longer.
