Of course, what happened in D.C. showed them that they do need to fear the people who know what they are and what they did to steal the election.

I think they know it was an inside job. The decision for congress to withhold support when asked by Capitol police took planning.

I do think they walk around jumpy, afraid of being confronted by Fed Marshals or someone with capacity to ruin their day.

The Supreme Court will hold conferences on several Trump election lawsuits in the next week to decide whether to hear them.

...SNIP But after the court pushed them off, many lawyers said that the challenges were still important and could have long-term implications for election fairness. Trump lawyer John Eastman told the Washington Examiner that even with Trump out of office, it was important to settle the issues raised by expanded mail-in voting.

“Our legal issue,” he said, referring to the way in which Pennsylvania conducted the 2020 election, “remains important and in need of the court’s review.”

Similarly, Kelly’s lawyer Greg Teufel, told the Washington Examiner after the court refused to hear his case before the inauguration that the 10-year congressman and major Trump ally had no intention of dropping the suit.

As election litigation continues to play out in the courts, many Republican state legislators have begun introducing bills to curb mail-in voting through law.

If the Supreme Court accepts any of the election lawsuits, it is likely that they won’t be heard until October.”

JMHO, what the majority of those Swamp Schmucks truly fear is having to go "home" and face that strange creature used to be called a constituent.

Even the ones used to vote for them, donate to their campaigns and plant their signs in their front yards.

Every one of 'em has had to take their mask off and expose what they actually are and do in Washington for over two months now and this past two weeks has just been the vomit topping on the big ol' s***burger they've been serving up for years now.

And they know it. Or will finally figure it out soon.

Could just be that the Suicide Weekend used to be discussed around here is coming up without any fanfare at all. Couldn't happen to more deserving bunch of slugs.
