Ita not individual homes/ comfort AC, home refigerators, etc that would kill people off ( not to mention not that many have the skills to “camp” for that long)

It’s the food supply chain, grocery supply chain refrigeration, medical, pharmaceutical, transportation, etc. being shut down that would cause the massive deaths.

I think medical is the only one we would have to worry about-since we are well into our 70s. and are otherwise pretty set up to do whatever we need other wise.

Since I grew up with a camping and farming family, and was cooking lunch by the age of 5 sometimes on a coleman stove and sometimes an open fire, I guess I just take for granted that suck things aren’t that hard to figure out.

I’d think it would be more about people eventually killing each other off, after the desperate ones marauded the homes of the preppers. We’re not dependent on medications, and are pretty well stocked food-wise. Though I do wish I could grow more of my own, but have proven to be a total brown-thumb, with the exception of avocados. Still, those would get stolen in a heartbeat, I’m sure. We could probably survive by our wits pretty long, if not for what our fellow human beings would be capable of if they were to become frantic enough.
