Epinephrine, adrenaline can be extracted from natural sources or chemically synthesized. I have peeked at some currently available products and have been unable to determine their method of manufacture.

Synthetic manufacture of this small molecule should have no DNA. Natural source anything may contain trace proteins, and possibly DNA, as a general rule of thumb. DH and I think the epi-pens are probably synthetic source.
