Fighting cancer, it takes its toll and sadly it appears he is losing the fight

People don't "fight" cancer in the sense you mean it, and when they die, which all people with this cancer at this stage do, they are not "losers".

I did not say he was a loser and people certainly do fight cancer.

Thank you. I recently lost a dear sister and also a close friend to cancer, both in the latter half of 2020. Neither were losers and both displayed strength and grace to the very end.
