Agreed. I missed probably 2/3 of the game as I was multitasking for a good part of it, aside from when I ate supper. No pre-game, no post-game, and no halftime. Pretty typical for me, and even that only applies to maybe 20% of the games on OTA TV here. (Some addiction. /s) But, anyway, I did see a few of those “crazy” Mahomes’ passes like the one where he was flying sideways through the air and still almost got the ball there. How did he...?
From what I saw of the 2nd half, Mahomes got chased around a lot - might have been both disheartened and tired? He essentially had no protection at all in the 4th quarter plays I saw.
I saw even less of Brady, but of what I did see, little was spectacular, he was just quite proficient and effective.
And yes, Gizmo IS a dog. He's a rescue dog as a matter of fact.
And, NO we don't live in a mansion. We're NOT elitists, we live in a small town in a very rural area of Oklahoma.
And, I say this with NO apologies whatsoever, I'm proud to be a rural person. You'd have to be a fool to think that is elitist.
:-)
Very well said! So true.
It was 29 deg. F in Tulsa, OK, at game time. Might have been a bit warmer to the southwest of there, but, it was 58 deg. in Dallas with a bit of a breeze. Seems a bit nippy for swimming. Heheh.
Sounds nice. I tried to buy a slice.
One of your Okie neighbors refused me.
WHAT IS UP ITHTHE MULTIPLE EXCLAMATION POINTS AND THE ALL CAPS?!!!!!!
I didn’t say you live in a mansion. For the price you pay in Okietown, I can afford a literal shack. I’ll send you a picture if you don’t believe me but you better have some kind of property to offer me where there are willing sellers in return.
YES. I DO think you are living an elitist lifestyle. To be candid, more upper-lower-class elitist versus middle class clueless elitist.
The Nile is more than just a river in Egypt.
Did you stand and sing along when they played the Black National anthem?
Who cares?!!!
I was busy watching my cats fertilize my lawn. OH! and it seems that about three or four (I can’t keep up with counting) of the toms have taken a great interest in one of my calicos.

“Super Bowl” — what is that, an extra-wide toilet bowl?
I care.
Tom Brady comes from San Mateo, right next door to my home town.
I had trouble rooting for him because he was on an opposing, disliked team. But he mgot old and was released to Tampa, so this was the demonstration of whether all those 6 prior victories were due to coach Vilicheck or due to Brady.
Today he demonstrates signifacantly that the reason was because of HIM, not the coach.
Can’t you see that?
The human endeavor achieving masterful success is worthy of notice and consideration. It is your right to ignore. Lots of other threads in this forum for you to peruse.
Here in Oklahoma, we have to such big cities run by idiot mayors who think they know better than the people who live in them. Not very bright people either.
Read the back of their helmets.... 🤮
Bet ratings and demos suck.
Tampa bay defensive line and linebackers were brutal. They won the game against Mahomes and crew
Brady had great protection the entire night. They also did a decent job for their running backs. Without gronk opening up the middle, it would have been a tie. The refs had some questionable holding calls, but some were obvious. The problem with an obvious call is it makes them look for holds. So, the refs became a bit of a player in the first half.
Gronkowski? I thought he retired back when I quit watching the NFL.
TB’s defense won the game and should be given the MVP tag.
I’m always in favor of redemption.
I watched the 2nd quarter and quit watching before halftime got started. Brady can retire as champion like Peyton Manning did, or keep playing as a former champion like Bart Starr did. I hope he retires and enjoys every bit of it.
