Agreed. I missed probably 2/3 of the game as I was multitasking for a good part of it, aside from when I ate supper. No pre-game, no post-game, and no halftime. Pretty typical for me, and even that only applies to maybe 20% of the games on OTA TV here. (Some addiction. /s) But, anyway, I did see a few of those “crazy” Mahomes’ passes like the one where he was flying sideways through the air and still almost got the ball there. How did he...?
From what I saw of the 2nd half, Mahomes got chased around a lot - might have been both disheartened and tired? He essentially had no protection at all in the 4th quarter plays I saw.
I saw even less of Brady, but of what I did see, little was spectacular, he was just quite proficient and effective.
Agreed, I junk that summed up Brady, efficient and seasoned professional, whole mahomes was struggling with nor real help. He got sacked a few times and like you said was co Stanly running and gunning. The accuracy though was what impressed me. With the right defensive team, he’s gonna be a handful to handle I think.
