Sort of... So a small difference or almost no difference is called delta since it signifies coordination, amirite? Or exactly a year apart, etc.

No, the delta is not limited to either a small change or a great change; it just refers to a change.

And, I hope I didn’t confuse you further by linking the use of delta to time only. I just meant that time differences are usually what is being referenced on our threads.

In science, the change could refer to something like a change in the rate of energy output.

Ack! The scientists here are going to be all over my lame explanations.
