I know so many Patriots who are stressed out by all the impeachment garbage and the propaganda media hell bent on destroying our President Trump and all of us who are Patriots.
I have been researching the Hebrides Revival and the possible connection to President Trump. It was very encouraging. I am praying for a revival for our Country, please join me. Here is what I put together.

Visions of Revival

Have you ever heard of the Hebrides Revival that happened on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland? A description of the events follows, “Beginning in November of 1949, two sisters, Peggy and Christine Smith, 84 and 82 years old–Peggy completely blind, and Christine bent over with arthritis—were burdened due to the depressed spiritual state in their Barvas village church. They sensed the Lord speaking to them: “I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground.” (Isaiah 44:3).

This led them to pray in their small cottage two to three nights per week, from 10 p.m. till 3 a.m. After several weeks of praying like this, Peggy had a vision of her church being crowded with young people, and an unknown minister preaching from the pulpit.

Peggy then sent for their minister, Rev. James Murray MacKay. She told him they sensed the Lord was going to send a revival and that he must get his church leaders and spend every Tuesday and Friday night in prayer, and that they would pray simultaneously in their cottage.
MacKay respected the sister’s spiritual judgement and the call to pray was made.”

By December 9, 1949 an announcement was placed in two newspapers, The Stornoway Gazette and The West Coast Advisor. It was an appeal for all believers to “view with concern the barrenness of the parishes” so they would turn again unto the Lord whom we have so grieved with our waywardness and iniquities.” It also asked the people to “pray that the villages would be visited with a spirit of repentance.”

The people of Lewis did pray and in time, an evangelist named Duncan Campbell came to lead the revival. Many spiritual revelations occurred over a period of several years. The historical record of the event states the following:
►The conviction of sin was overwhelming, and though some attempted to run from that conviction power, it followed them wherever they went, into bars and even across the channel to the mainland.
►There were prostrations. This is not what is commonly referred to as being “slain in the Spirit,” but prostrations due to the overwhelming presence of God (Daniel 10).
►There were times when large groups of people froze in place, and some appeared as though they were having epileptic fits. Duncan Campbell soundly declared that this was not demonic, but that it was the overwhelming presence of God resting upon people (Daniel 10).
►Many had visions that provided divine guidance that led to many people’s salvation.
►There were visions and trances, of which Duncan Campbell said “We dare not speak against them because we might be speaking against God.” Campbell also said we shouldn’t seek visions and trances, and that they were incidental. The focus should be on Christ and on the Word of God.
►Numerous people confessed to having heard angels singing, and it was from many different locations where this took place.
►Some saw demons flying out of the church buildings.
►One man testified that while praying in the church, he saw a white dove resting on people’s heads. The dove named the individuals one by one, and those who were named were all converted that night.
►The presence of the Lord would make your hair stand on end, and it continued day and night. That presence was pervasive and undeniable. It didn’t matter if you were a Christian or not, you could sense that fearful, awe-inspiring presence of God.
►One of the houses in the village of Arnol shook while people in it were praying.
►When leaving the church one night, out in an open field, a ship was seen by everyone there. It was a navy ship and it was shrouded in light. It was a vision, and it left everyone present mute. They couldn’t say a word.
►Some people, when walking along the roads, would be enshrouded in light.
► There were lights overshadowing some of the homes.
►Many sailors gave their testimony that while their ships were passing the island they would feel the presence of the Lord.

While searching for current information on the revival, I found Dr. Teri McCarthy’s version of the events, “Back in 2002, Daryl and I went to Scotland to meet with Christians who had experienced the Great Hebrides Revival of 1949. Donald Smith, a teen during the great outpouring, had invited us to stay with him and his family. Donald wanted to tell us his story and we wanted to hear it. The Great Hebrides Revival was a miraculous time when Duncan Campbell preached for three years and the Spirit of God moved powerfully on the tiny Isle of Lewis and throughout the Hebrides.”

I have watched a gentleman named Donald Smith describe the same story Dr. McCarthy wrote about. She continued, “Daryl and I were overwhelmed by Donald Smith’s telling of the Great Outpouring on the Isle. He wept as he told of lives being changed by the presence of God. We were privileged to meet several folks who had experienced the 1949 revival. We were asked to speak at the church in Barvas. They hosted a reception for us after. Church members were eager to tell their stories of God moving on their families and their lives. Each one had a miracle to tell. Their eyes filled with tears as they recalled the daily meetings during the revival – each day followers met for prayer, singing, and Bible reading. The village was filled with joy and love for one another. The small Isle of Lewis began to flourish. Lives were forever changed. To this day, the Isle of Lewis doesn’t experience the same social and economic problems as the rest of Scotland.” Link here http://terimccarthyblahblahblog.com/part-iv-a-shocking.../

When I first learned of the Hebrides Revival it was connected to a story that stated Peggy and Christine Smith were Donald Trump’s Aunts. The stories have circulated that Donald John Smith is Donald Trump’s cousin. The focus then turned to debunking that part of the story. I set out to see if I could clarify fact from fiction.

I learned several things a long the way. Trump’s Mother was Mary Anne Mcleod before she married Fred C. Trump. Her Mother’s name was Mary Smith Mcleod. Donald Trump’s Grandfather was named Donald Smith. There are many Smith’s, Donald’s, Mary’s, Malcom’s and Mcleod’s in the family lineage and names given to children. While I have not found definitive proof that the Smith sister’s were related, I have determined that is not the key lesson to be learned from this story.

The biggest take away is, Donald Trump’s Mother had to have known of the events. I feel certain of that. It is easy to believe that she would have shared the stories with her children. It is easy to believe that Donald Trump would have read and researched the information available with a natural curiosity about the area his Mother and Grandparent’s were from. I am certain that he had relatives who were saved and who experienced the whole phenomenon. Ask yourself, “Would this have an impact on my Faith if I knew the events described were true?”

I can understand why Donald Trump would keep this to himself. Can you imagine the way the Press would crucify him if he dared to report that his family was involved in a religious crusade where people heard Angels sing? People refer to Donald Trump as a great Chess Player and I believe that is probably true as well. One other thing the Isle of Lewis is known for is that in 1831 Malcom Macleod found the Lewis Chessmen, buried in a case in the sand. It is a Medieval Chess set that included 93 pieces and was in pristine condition. The set is held by several Museums now and I would be willing to bet money that Donald Trump knows as much about this Chess Set as he does the Hebrides Revival. Angels will probably sing the day that a “reporter” asks him about either.

That’s a pretty big stretch as I see it.

“A recent hand recount in the Rockingham District 7 NH House Race in Windham, New Hampshire, found that the Dominion voting machines shorted EVERY REPUBLICAN by roughly 300 votes. “

Microcosm of all the fraud.

The two factors that make the truth of your speculations highly possible are the gravity of the event for so many people and the proximity of President Trump to people and places involved.

President Trump publicly declared Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Thank you for the great encouragement.

Thank you for your post about Donald Trump’s Scottish relatives and the Hebrides Revival. I was hearing Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture in my head while reading it. Seriously, I pray often for spiritual revival in America. The term “the Great Awakening” has had that other, higher connotation to me since the beginning of all of this. It would be wonderful if we got to experience and witness both sorts in our time!
