It’s worse, back in December, before a vaccine was widely available, they were going to go. They had tested negative 3 days before their scheduled flight but cancelled because even though they tested negative the healthcare workers would not be allowed to visit my aunt until 14 days after my parents left, i.e. she had to self quarantine. So my parents cancelled their trip so as not to interfere with my aunt’s healthcare.
It’s all political despotism with no medical evidence to support what any government official is doing nor requiring related to Covid.
This is evil and I am so sorry your family is going through the that.
