Thanks for sharing. My husband was pretty sick in November. I was fatigued, but never as sick as he was. I definitely knew going in how to care for him and get the meds he needed to overcome it. He has asthma and I hope we don’t get it again. Sorry about your job.
Thank you. I have asthma also, and another chronic lung thing - plus wicked WICKED post nasal drip. I was very surprised that I didn’t end up getting hit in the lungs - either time. In fact, this time - well, all of my chronic lung/cough issues actually stopped, or very nearly so. That was the single surprising thing about this bout - well and the way I went through fever. LOTS of fever this time.
The first time, I didn’t have much trouble with cough/lungs - just a couple of days a bit iffy, but never in trouble. This time, that stuff actually got BETTER for me. How weird is that? I’m still not back to my old level of cough - and I hope it stays this way!
I’ll miss my job, but the owner didn’t know/understand that type of retail at all, and just thought it should be a successful business because he was 3rd gen local business person (conceited dude) - but to branch out to something new ... well, he just traded on his family name. Which didn’t work. Meh, I liked my schedule, the customers, and the proximity to home. There is much I will not miss about it though. Except knowing that I have a job - that hurts.
