I can not believe that our once proud country has sunk so low....
I did not find the podcast despairing at all. I did not expect to hear anything different. I was surprised that he said don’t concede that wine.
Our once proud country has not sunk so low suddenly, it has been a slow sinking that many were oblivious to, but President Trump pulled the curtain back, enabling many more to finally wake up and see.
I did not find the interview to be “despairing talk” at all. It just presents one man’s perspective. The main points I got out of it were:
- Gen. Flynn has not spoken with Pres. Trump since Jan 6 (a month ago!), though he “hopes to” soon... (So he can only speculate what PDJT is currently doing or not doing).
- President Trump led the way, but he is only one mortal man, who has done a lot, but can only do so much
- Everyone needs to step up now and do their part to preserve our freedoms, from people in or running for all levels of office, to the ordinary person getting involved in their local politics, voting processes, etc.
- Don’t donate money to political parties, you don’t know where it’s going (duh!)
- People should be voted out of DC politic al offices after a short time - they’re there to serve, and not to accrue personal wealth
- America’s future is bright as long as we patriots stay awake and keep our focus
I also liked how he answered Doug, “I would not concede that bottle of wine”. Interesting way to put it...
