More Patrick Byrne:
In brief, Byrne was included in a meeting at the White House where Mike Flynn said that Sidney Powell needed to be appointed Special Counsel so that she could take charge of things, implicitly sidelining Rudy Giuliani. Trump said yes, but a few days later the idea was dropped. Byrne blames Trump’s legal advisors — who Byrne thinks were ready to put the election behind them and join the derp employment and social circles. Supposedly, Trump muses something to Byrne — CEO to CEO — to the effect of, “Imagine how much I could get done if I didn’t have to fight so much internal opposition.”
I’m more inclined to believe that Trump didn’t want everything resolved at that time (before Christmas). There was still a lot to get done before the truth about the election needed to be revealed.
Trump hasn’t lost the White House. The next _resident hasn’t even really moved in. He’ll take it back when he’s good and ready.
