“Most breeds have rescues”
We just got a German shepherd . 13 years. We do seniors now because of such needs for “dumped” seniors and our ages, too! Mostly, they are already house trained and, I think they know they have a home that will love them till the end.
One of our favorite rescue dogs was about 8 when we got him. We had 5 great years with him. A friend of mine adopted an old dog recently, after her dog died. Another great older dog. 🙂
