With a narrow minded senile Dem creep like Patrick Leahy sitting in the 'judge' seat, it is possible that election fraud evidence would not be allowed - although if they wish to bring up DJT's loud complaints about the elections since Nov 3 as a cause - then perhaps it could be presented.
I frankly do not know why Trump - or the Repubs - are going along with this colossal joke; there are D.C. pundits that are saying the same thing. Just walk away and let the Dems ridicule themselves with their dog and pony show and then take it to SCOTUS - or ignore it altogether. If they want to stop Trump from running for office again - they cannot! This is NOT impeachment! . . . Just another kangaroo court like the first 'impeachment'.
They are jamming this down our throats - if we will have it. They impeached Prez Trump for supposedly doing what Joe Bitem actually did; now The Joe is POTUS {supposedly} and DJT is thrown into the weeds. 'Take that, patriots!' Notta gonna accept it!

I don’t know what the plan is, but I am confident that our VSG President Trump has it all figured out. And I am not worried.
