TV slide - History Channel - “Pacific” is on. I haven’t seen it, but it’s supposed to be a Pacific Campaign version of “Band of Brothers”. So far, So good.
Ah well, no cable.
I do recall Victory at Sea on television in the 1960s.
Had an uncle who was in most of the major S Pacific amphibious operations. Never heard him talk about any of them. Mother, his sister, talked about him being in them. No real detail though.
