I think President Trump delayed letting the Deep State know he would actually leave to give the DS time to fully film and revise, CGI etc. an inauguration at an alternate site, possibly indoors.
Then very near Jan 20, he quickly left, leaving the DS very little time to create a realistic inauguration in the traditional venue.
They rushed to have “rehearsals” at the outdoor venue; I’d never heard of the top players having full dress rehearse at the actual venue - why not indoors?
The finished product is not Hollywood’s best work.
I think part of the reason President Trump delayed was because had they been given enough time to fake an outdoor inauguration, with all the technology and skill available to them, it would have likely been impossible to tell it wasn’t real.
Further - with each passing day, they have time to craft sets, CGI, etc. so soon it may really be impossible to tell visually. Perhaps someone will replace and iron the Oval Office drapes, for example.
Transportation in public is more difficult. The problem with Biden’s arrival on Jan 20 is they had an entire airport full of passengers waiting for flights and other pilots, ATC people - they had to film a plane that actually arrived there.
Likewise, a motorcade would have to be seen publicly by others, although he could be photoshopped getting in and out of The Beast.
But hey, we have Anderson Cooper crouching in shallow water to make it look deep, so they’ll no doubt innovate. Wonder if they’d bother to “improve” and replace stills and video from inauguration day?
