US farmers are happy but gasoline refiners are skittish.
I’m no fan of EtOH in gasoline but, with that much corn in CCP hands and crude supplies predicted to slow, refinery blends will be hand-cuffed and gasoline pump prices will likely rise quickly and steeply when the summer-blend comes around.
And, that change-over, folks, is a FEDERAL regulation.

I just paid $1.99/gal for E85 in Brentwood CA yesterday, it dropped 40 cents from 3 days before. The spread now beats the tar out of the mileage loss and the truck actually seems to like it more (possibly because it’s closing on 400,000 miles and the 100 octane offsets some deposit buildup?).
I’d probably defer the use if I wasn’t burning a tank every 2-3 days because that (Ethanol) level will vacuum water out of the air...

Remember how DJT kept stating that he filled up the National supply” of oil..?? He emphasized it repeatedly. Methinks he knew what was coming... :)
