I did a search on “US Army Marching Band with Reenactors, 16th St., Washington D.C.” and the only two results that made sense were the one youtube video (now up to just over 100 views) and some very minimal looking website that had the same video with no info, posted by the same woman who put up the youtube. Source cited on the site below is the youtube link. Cannot find anything else.

I watched the entire video again with DH and it is extremely mysterious, so much silence. Very symbolic. No audience. Comments turned off for the youtube.
Here’s her channel, has almost all music concerts:

RE: “US Army Marching Band with Reenactors, 16th St., Washington D.C.” video

I agree, it was as bizarre as can be, and all the more mysterious because of the lack of explanation and discussion to be found. So few YouTube views. I wonder why.

Ransomnote, apologies if you explained upthread, but how did you happen to come across that video?

I did a search for Biden inauguration military parade and got this one about half way down, looks like a rehearsal.

Notice that the officers (the group with the swords/sabers) are facing and saluting the Colors.

Of note is when the command is given to “Retire the Colors” (at about 5:43) and the Color Guard turns right and marches single file, followed by the rest of the military. This command is usually given at the end of the ceremony, not in the middle.

Also, I’m fairly sure that is “SGT Tackle-Box” at about 6:14, although without his box.

At 6:57, the command is given - “Commanders, Take Charge of Your Units”. The units are them turned around and moved out.

Something else that I find interesting is that according to the video of the military “Pass in Review” for Biden, the officers did not form a line to salute him, nor did the Color Guard do as they did in front of the 1776 building.
