Thanks. I claim ignorance and am trying to see what is most significant about these reassignments. Many seem to be moved up to commanding general, some are being sent to be the commander of a foreign theater. It looks as if they’re readying for position in a way that suggests conflict in the near future.

Ohhh the assignments! Thought you were talking about something else. The Lt. General Charles Flynn assignment is significant to me for 1. It says (Promotable - meaning 4 stars coming soon?) and 2. the Pacific theater because that is where tensions are rising. A few other significant ones is the one who was removed from Pacific is now assigned to command of JSOC Forward (at Bragg). Also Gilland out of S. Korea and to Fort Hood. (He survived a sexual harassment charge I believe) Also seems significant of a number of reassignments TO D.C.
