Where does Oklahoma rank in state GDP?

Oklahoma is well down the list at about 30... 1/10 the GDP of Texas. Regardless, GDP isn’t the only or even the most important criterion for ‘joining the club’. Cultural similarity and mutual benefit are more important....
Why would Texas want to become a republic with a state that would be economically dependent on real Texans.
As for cultural, Texas shares a lot of cultural with Louisiana and Mexico, but there is no need to make Louisiana and the northern states of Mexico into the Republic of Texas.
