Markets are flat again today vacillating between above and below zero change and all within 0.1% of open.
The past 2-3 weeks have been a blowout for Gamestop with no real economic reason for it that I can figure given they last reported negative operating and profit margins. I’ve added some long term shorts on here - just because they are cheap and it makes no sense.
Haven’t had a chance to look at aircraft/maritime last few days.
A group on Reddit called r/WallStreetBets (2.2 million members) got together and have been buying GameStop because 139% of the stock was shorted (most shorted stock on the market) and they are trying to put some hedge funds who are shorting the stock out of business. Actually amazing to watch - GameStop is now over $135 per share.
