Quick hello from a hospital hallway in flyover country. Ravenna Ohio. Just had part one n two of 3 part chemical stress test. In hall eating for 2nd nuclear radiation scan.
Hospital gave me a shadow of sorts nursing student out of Hiram college. Name Yosef. From Israel. Woke up at 8 n there he was. Did the vitals - long n awkward n fumbling. Then had a fistful of papers with questions. Iโm half asleep n no potty ๐. It was comical. Heโll hopefully smoother out the bedside manner. In the hall Iโm on hospital bed n heโs on a chair next to me. Nice young man maybe 20. I can barely hear or understand him. D sad oft voice. Masks. My heating issues culprits.

I’m sure it was hilarious, Dolly!! Poor kid...you might have been his first real-life patient. And he has to keep this fragile little old lady alive!
I can just picture the back and forth, with you two. ๐
These masks make it so much harder to understand people.
I hope they arenโt making you wear one, ever. ๐
I had a resident do after surgery checkup. I told him I could hardly eat anything. He looks me up and down and says that I don’t look like I’m wasting away to nothing. ROFL. I yold him that’s because about all I could eat was ice cream with loads of chocolate syrup.
I told my primary physician about it and we had a good laugh.
Hi, Dolly. Thanks for checking in.
