this whole phenomenon reminded me of a few things....first, the Sarah Palin thing. So many people were waiting for her to run; and many of us were obvious that she had moved on, but still enjoyed a little publicity. Much really awful vitriol on here during those days.

LOL, I was thinking of the Palinstinians too. I remember stating that I thought Palin was not going to run in 2012, and getting replies like "Oh, she's running. Trust me. She is definitely running". Kinda like "Trust Trump's plan".

it was so obvious that she wasn’t running, but was an attention seeker (not that I blame her...she had to work)

but like I said before....I’m sure I’ve been on the wrong side of an intensely debated issue before and that my wrongness was obvious to others

were you here when roberts was nominated by gwb? Wow, that was intense. We KNEW that he was bad news. But I didn’t think he was going to be this bad....
