Legality Of Political Betting Markets In The US
The overall legality of political betting markets in the US is pretty simple to understand. Even though sports betting has taken the United States by storm, political betting is a completely different issue. Right now, all legal sportsbooks in the country are not allowed to take bets on the 2020 Presidential elections or any other election around the country. Most states specifically have laws against sportsbooks providing odds on any elections.

Just because its illegal doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
Nobody but the individual customer getting paid knows when an illegal bookie gets paid off.
The original meme was BS, that’s all. It’s also meaningless when they pay off, bookies don’t possess any secret knowledge and couldn’t care less about this stuff. Who wins or loses makes NO difference to a bookie’s income. None.
Predictit.org already took my money for betting on the winner (Trump) so don’t tell me it isn’t legal. There is also another one Iowa something or other, but Predictit is the only one I’ve attempted to use. Been around for years.
I need to apologize, there was legal betting on the Presidential election despite the two links I found saying it wasn’t.
A commenter mentioned a site that took bets and I checked it out.
