I went to the drugstore to pick up my husband’s RX and the line was soooo long. They had 2 lines-one for covid testing and one for everything else. The covid testing line was the long one.

They’ve got so many folks whipped up into a hysteria over this. It’s sad.

Were people talking about why they were getting tested?

I can understand if they have to do it for work or to see a back surgeon for a consultation or maybe because their niece is making them do it in order to go to her wedding.

I assume the testing wasn’t for antibodies but for so-called active infections.

I don’t get why people who feel fine or maybe have what is a cold would stand on line to risk exposure to what they believe is a deadly disease in order to get tested for a deadly disease that even if they test negative for they come down with next week because they caught it from the person behind them in line.

Well put. Ain’t nobody sticking no swab 4” up my nose; I gave up a fair amount of work to avoid this and just may be retiring earlier than expected, if this nonsense continues. If I get the virus, I get it, and will take care of it on my own without any *%@# testing.

It was drive through testing. The first time I went the testing line was 7 or 8 cars deep then 3 or 4 deep when I returned 4 hours later to get the rest of my husband’s meds.

So probably a steady stream all day. It didn’t seem likely to me that so many would be in line due to employer requirements but who knows?

I didn’t go inside the store. I don’t go anywhere unless I absolutely have to. :)
