The Wikipedia entry on Scalia said nothing on his remains being cremated. While I understand that the Catholic Church permits cremation, Scalia was a member of the traditionalist wing, which holds to the older doctrine, which forbade cremation except under unusual circumstances.

The reporting I’ve seen says that his family actually requested that there be no autopsy. I’ve never seen anything about the family being upset that there wasn’t one.
