A traceroute shows it is at 104.16.122.96
you could try https://104.16.122.96
It will give a security warning since the certificate name gab.com does not match the literal IP address.
At least you will know if it is reachable.

Just tried at 3:50 PM EST and got right on...
Gab is way better that Parler. It's been working fine for me, vs Parler which doesn't work at all.

Has nothing to do with their ability to accept credit cards. The credit card companies have refused to service Gab because they don't like speech that isn't under their control.
It's the credit card companies who are engaging in restraint of trade.

I just deleted an e-mail from her and clicked “spam” for the future.
I suspect it is going to be up and down while they do their maintenance. In my experience, you always take their projected downtime with a grain of salt.
The next big attack will be on Epix. They are the domain registrars for many “outlawed” websites, including Gab, Parler (now) and many porn sites.
Here's what their message says:
We will be bringing Gab offline at ~1PM EST today for some hardware upgrades (adding more vacuum tubes) It should take about an hour to complete.
There was a big article a couple of days ago that Gab has switched to operating its own servers. This is certainly better than using someone else’s servers, but there might be some teething issues with starting that up.

Looks like they did some upgrades.
They are running bare metal from what I understand. I’m not sure what their setup is past that. They are running on top of an open source platform named Mastadon. Here is a little info on that:
Like the left some open source types get their panties in a wad if you don’t see eye-to-eye with their politics. That makes me laugh a bit.
One thing for sure, gab is hauling booty right now. Very robust.
gab was never an option. I’ve never once completely loaded the site
Sorry for the downtime, had to upgrade some server hardware. Back in action!
For me, Gab is flying super-fast.
This is why Jim runs his OWN servers. Smart guy.
