I am experiencing a dark period... However, in times like this, I reall a memory Corrie ten Boom shared in her book The Hiding Place of her sister Betsie’s observation: “Give thanks in all circumstances. It doesn’t say, ‘in pleasant circumstances.’ Fleas are part of this place where God has put us.”
Indeed, we seem to be infested. May we find blessings in even these circumstances.

My Mom used to say - instead of worrying about what you don’t have, give thanks for what you have and those things you don’t want(sickness, pain, etc.) and don’t get.
