Wouldn't they still all reduce to .gov though instead of .info?
Someone on thedonald.win claimed the .info site had a small statement "this site is parody" and had been set up in 2009.
I hadn't checked in detail.
What I did find was this:

you’re right about .info vs. .gov - I think the information gleaned from there (in this case) is good but I’m not sure about the rest.
