No. We get a letter telling us our ballot is coming in the mail (Colorado). By next election the ballot will probably be filled out for us.

This is California. For what it's worth, the 2020 packaged mail-in ballots (however they were eventually processed) seemed to arrive from USPS on time and in an orderly manner.

I voted in person (because my county provided for it) so I didn't use the mailed ballot (which I never requested anyhow).
