Channel 19 was the main channel in the old CB radio days on the highways. The truckers would say “take it down to 17” to people they wanted to talk to without the constant interruptions of people on 19. I learned how to talk to the truckers and win their favor as a “4 wheeler” and made a lot of good time in their “rocking chairs”.
