I don't think the plan was to kill Kennedy from before he was put into office. So much wasted energy getting him into office and letting the media decorate Camelot betrays that as unlikely. Nixon was a well-behaved CIA tool that could have worked for the DS with a whole lot less brouhaha. No, it was time to let the Jesuits show the benefits of being able to win no matter which way the coin toss went.

Having a Dem in for a while was a nice pendulum swing to let voters get the idea they might have an electoral voice, though it obviously wasn't the case, as Illinois' spigot of fraudulent votes brought in JFK. Who could argue with the vetted, pre-compromised, dues-paid daddy, handsome youth, street-cred military hero, author, and that family name!?

But there was a risk with bringing in a not-completely-corrupted Catholic, as their morals could get uppity in way that doesn't work with Free Masonry. The DS had Laurel Canyon Marilyn at-the-ready to compromise him, should he get out of hand. So that made the risk somewhat less. Besides, horny-to-get-in LBJ could be (and was, of course) brought in if things really did get out of hand. JFK "earned his assassination" with the three strikes of 1) openly blaming the CIA for the Bay of Pigs fiasco, 2) all that accusatory secret society talk--in public, and 3) setting up new money to break the "Federal" Reserve.

LBJ was used to being in charge in Texas, of course, and that didn't suit the next-higher-level game of Nazis Dulles & GHWB. But as long as Lyndon was true to "We will have those n*****s voting Democrat for the next 200 years," he was doing his job required of him.

The Agency's accountant-type, RMN, would provide the Dem -> Republican pendulum optics while tucking everything back in the approved cubby-holes. Turns out he was well aware of his vulnerabilities vis-à-vis the CIA and perhaps wound just a little too tight when it came to self-protection, what with his recording his phone conversations with everybody and that Huston Plan.

I have yet to figure the color of RMN’s hat. Perhaps he was a white one compromised by the CIA.
