Since November 3, we have had circa 10MM /NEW/ cases of Covid.
At an extremely conservative rate estimate of 25% positive/test, that means around 40MM people have been tested for COVID in the last 2 months.
So, the entire population of metropolitan NYC has been tested since 11/3.
I have an idea that would get the rate to manageable levels,

Stop
Testing
anything that moves!
Masks and distance work, right?

means 40MM tests, not 40MM people tested.
My Son-in-law tested positive - Texas - at the time he needed 2 consecutive negatives to bust quarantine. He tested positive twice more before his 2 negative tests - 5 tests total. I'm just guessing all the tests went into the totals.
FYI...My daughter-in-law tested positive today. We last saw her Tuesday - hugs & kisses all around.
Now the quarantine queen(my better angel) has me\us locked down for at least 10 days - effective today.
