President pro tempore of the Senate is next after SOH, but the idea would be Grassley steps aside.

Someone clued me in that SOH is Speaker of House. Up thread it was said that SoS is in the line after SoH. Since there will be a “new” senate Jan 19, with Dems in majority, then it would seem the President pro tempore of Senate would be a Dem. That would not work.
Senate is tied. Harris has to be VP to break the tie. IF she’s not sworn in then it stays as is until a new VP takes the oath.
