The military is prepared against small arms and stuff like that. Even if an enemy came at DC with heavy artillery and 18 wheelers they are ready. And they can call in air support.

Ready for an extended siege. Supplies could even be air lifted.

They are a lot safer than people living in NYC, Detroit, LA, and Portland.

I was thinking in terms of enemies abroad - one well-placed nuke....

I mean, if they wiped out most of congress, I might not shed a tear, but losing a division is rather significant.

Honestly, I have no idea what kind of threat exists, but I do know that it wouldn't be typical Trump supporters storming DC or other state capitals. If there's going to be violence, it'll be coming from the left like it always does.
