Texas Land Commissioner George P Bush has furiously denied claims that he plans to erect a statue of a Mexican dictator who led troops against the defenders of the Alamo at the site of the historic battle in San Antonio.

Bush, the son of former Florida governor Jeb Bush and nephew of President George W Bush, has been at the center of a simmering dispute over planned renovations at the Alamo, which he is overseeing.

Controversy arose when a group called Save The Alamo reported in a December 10 Facebook post that Bush intends to put up a statue of General Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna outside the beloved landmark.

Under Santa Anna's leadership, Mexican troops slaughtered nearly 200 Texans fighting to keep control of their land by the Mexico border at the 13-day Battle of the Alamo in 1836.

Bush responded to the Santa Anna statue claim the following day, calling it an 'outright lie' and flat out racist'.

He also questioned whether his Mexican heritage fueled the accusation that he would support a Mexican dictator.

Not that I’m holding my breath or anything, but has George P. Bush’s mother Columba Bush EVER made any public statements? They like to ridicule Melania for her accent. I just wondered about Jeb’s wife.

Back in 1999, Columba was caught trying to smuggle over $19K Dollars worth of jewelry and French clothing through customs. She only declared $500.
Can you imagine what the late “Great” Barbara Bush had to say about that?

“That would be like erecting a statue of Ho Chi Minh at the Vietnam Memorial.”

Democrats would be perfectly okay with that.

Is this the Bush kid that expressed support for President Trump?

Actually, Emperor Santa Ana of Mexico.

And a Freemason. Which was awkward when he fled from pursuing Texans, caught him, and were about to string him up when he gave a sign of distress recognized by other Masons in the group, who then interceded.

So Santa Ana ends up in New York City where a lot of his acquaintances were Masons, and he’s run thru his finances. Brother Wrigley, in his efforts to re-fund Santa Ana, leads to the invention of Chiclets, from the chicle found in Santa Ana’s home country.

Different times, then.

P us about as Mexican in heritage as I am African

His response does not answer the question. It throws the race card to distract. Does he think a statue of Santana should be placed at the Alamo?

The tan-in-a-can “Brown One” is of New England heritage. Little Bushito is descended from a New England rich aristocracy of banksters, Wall Street gangsters, and robber barons. The Bush Klan has has been crooked and grifting for farther back than any living person can remember.

They are raised from the cradle with a sense of entitlement. Talk about "White privilege", well here it is.
