Every instrument used to send or receive Internet data must have FCC approval or license, and somewhere on your equipment it is licensed. It is printed on your equipment unless you are using illegally imported instruments or you are Posting from outside of the USA.
It seems that you have altered your position some. The fact that they have not done anything is not the same as the reality that as a regulatory authority they can do something.
