Trump is the first president in my seven plus decades who I could trust. Is he human? Of course. Does he make mistakes. I'm sure he does. But he's not a phony like all of the other Republicans presidents have been.
History will look positively and fondly on President Trump. You can't name me one other person, not even one, who could have done what he's done with the evil forces of the country and world arrayed against him and still been able to accomplish what he did. He is unique.
If you're looking for perfection in a president or person, you won't find it. If you are looking for bold, exceptionalism, Trump is the only one I know who is like that. I trusted him and still do. But no one else. I don't abandon him because he makes mistakes. Because he's the best we've ever had and the best we'll ever find.
I know quite a few people who think Nixon got a raw deal and wasn’t as as admired and respected as much as Trump.

Not quite the same thing. I didn’t vote for him to be PRESIDENT - unlike almost every one of the Freepers who flamed me. Almost to a person, they wanted McCain - and then Romney - to be COMMANDER IN CHIEF.!!??!!! And then they have the chutzpah to claim I’m not a conservative.
