I know quite a few people who think Nixon got a raw deal and wasn’t as as admired and respected as much as Trump.

Trump is widely liked by his supporters and engages with people in a positive way. People who are close to him say his public persona is misjudged. He is a very nice, friendly and humorous guy in private.

Nixon, on the other hand, was not personable at all. He was uncomfortable around people and acted robotic and unnatural when engaging with others. How history judged him may have a lot to do with that.
