Twitter said in a statement that the mass censorship is “to protect the conversation on our service from attempts to incite violence, organize attacks, and share deliberately misleading information about the election outcome.”
“We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm. Given the violent events in Washington, DC, and increased risk of harm, we began permanently suspending thousands of accounts that were primarily dedicated to sharing QAnon content on Friday afternoon,” the blog post stated.

I have argued those point several times on various FR threads; and, without fail, the Q-tards here crawl out of their holes and proceed to attack. They are impervious to facts, indifferent to the truth, and in denial of the consequences. Most of the “Q-Anon” faction are gullible conspiracy followers, some are just plain stupid, and a select few are outright malevolent grifting a-holes.
I lost 30,000 followers in four days.

Well, maybe that is another 70k lost customers. Keep it going Twitter. I love when the left destroys themselves. As Rush says, “The lefts breaks everything they touch.”
And so now we see lots of fear and a lot of truth massaging regarding President Trump post-election and what he will do during what appears to be his last days in office.
We see this in how Twitter and the rest report his speech and who they blame for all that happened in DC: President Trump, “Q” and the anons first, along with the rest of their usual suspects.
And ... all was foretold by Q ... including some steps that seem to be happening now, like the censorship, for one example.
I watch and see how the future is proving the past ... especially the disinformation, gaslighting and throwing shade and more on all deplorables.
And naturally some will accept these “truths” as truth, given the sources who spread them.
Thinking is hard work and we humans like our questions answered quickly and as neatly as possible so we can get back to whatever it was we were doing.
Once information is accepted as a personal truth, it is truth even if it isn’t.
The people running game on us are masters of manipulation and are very good at pushing your buttons so subliminally you’ll come back and beg for more.
To me, this appears cult-like, sorta like an addiction, as I’ve seen in others and in my self, who can’t turn off CNN or Fox News.
Watch your emotions and what you feel when they show you or tell you something.
That’s how they move you where they want you to go, just like how Tom Sawyer knew how to whitewash a fence.

I watch and see how more stupidity hurts today. The QAnon grift hurt President Trump and many Americans badly.
Now they’ll never get a hearing with Americans watching on the evidence they planned on January 6th.
But hey, they big furry guy in a Viking hat got to be on TV so there’s the big Q win.

I got banned for 12 hours for predicting Jan 6 Capitol storming several days before it occurred. The note from Twitter justifying the ban erroneously relabeled the prediction as advocacy of violence.
Now they’ll never get a hearing with Americans watching on the evidence they planned on January 6th.
Right, by design ... one way or another. Don’t you see that yet?
You can find support for this point of view by the rank and file of those who voted for and against certifying the vote.
More support is found in how those who voted against and who claim election fraud are now considered Public Enemy #1.
And still more in those who then echo similar, “confirming” sentiments.
Q is not the reason ... Q is the excuse for what they do now.
They were going to do all of what you see and more ... one way or another.
How many times do you need to see something before you see it? ... a rhetorical question, of course.
Q-types just can’t manage to have a rational or civil conversation, so all they can do is “brigade” as they call it on reddit, just swamp anyone who disagrees with a bunch of hate posts. That’s one of the big reasons they had to get herded into their own little digital ghetto here on FR.
Q “predictions” use the same method of generality and “cold reading” as do horoscope soothsayers and séance mediums. All of it is bogus, a manipulative con. Not one prediction of the “Q”-tards has come to pass.
The “Q” have been caught manipulating stock photos, attaching these to their spurious claims.
I know of the two individuals who first began the “Q-Anon” phenomenon - and they stated that they planned it as a social experiment. They soon grew bored with their LARP game, and dropped out.
However, grifters picked up on the LARP, and used their “Q drops” to make money off naïve, gullible, and otherwise stupid Twitter followers. They spread it like wildfire across social media platforms. And the more it caught on, the more individuals who saw “Q” as a method to fleece those having a temperament inclined towards obtaining “secret” “inside” intel were caught inn the deceit. Soon, it became not just a money making operation, but a purposed campaign for spreading disinformation in an effort to manipulate the political and cultural landscape.
Losing the senate seats in the Georgia run-off election were but one major consequence of the “Q” influence. The storming of the U.S. capitol was perhaps the most destructive consequence of the “Q” assault on reality.
Anyone with an understanding of the Constitution’s 12th Amendment, the Electoral Count Act of 1887, and a proper knowledge of the rules regarding how State Legislatures officially select and certify a competing slate of electors, knew immediately that the entire “Q”-propagated ruse - that VP Mike Pence could reject the Biden Electors and send them back to the states for a reexamination - was totally fabricated nonsense.
“Q” is not just a bad joke, it is a fatal one, which has now done incalculable damage to the MAGA movement, President Donald Trump’s legacy, and the First Amendment Rights of an entire nation.
The “Q” brigades should be shunned, and viewed with nothing less than contempt.
Q is the grift that keeps on giving - to the damn Democrats!
Apparently, the pig farmer who hosts the QAnon grift in the Philippines when he’s not selling teen porn to Japan promoted the attack on the Capital on his server.
So, the real question is why the Feds didn’t take action as they are without question monitoring the LARPy Q grift?
They didn’t because they actually wanted something to go off and then they can use it to crack down on Americans.
Which they’re already doing!
Yes, those were the guys who liked puzzles and created Q on 4Chan.
The people who took it to 8Chan wanted to make a lot of money off low information Boomers, and did.
