I teach mathematics at a state university.
Something else I do is teach the same math courses in high schools so the students can earn college credit. It’s called “Dual Credit” courses.
Before distance learning connected us via ZOOM, I taught these courses in person in the High Schools.
Did you know that after the 8am Pledge of Allegiance, they roll out a TV and watch what can only be described as TEEN CNN.
The announcers are teenagers and they go through a daily summary of the ‘news’ and it is ALL from a left-wing slant. This goes on for about 10 minutes, and then the school day begins.
The smaller country high schools don’t watch it. The private schools don’t watch it. But the inner city schools of any city with a population of more than 50,000 are watching it. It is pure indoctrination.
That is the DSA agenda. We laughed at the “community organizer” This is what he was preparing. I am a professor as well, i never say where or say anything on my FB page. I have been incognito. What i do is teach conservative principles very stealthily. using a socratic method you can find out first what they think about what they just heard and then quote back statements that challenge the proposal before them. Just get them thinking. Kids are smart and most can decree BS. We just need to reinforce it.
I have asked several friends why they disengaged with society, being leaders of clubs and local chapters of anything, being coaches, part of clubs that influence.. No answer. They simply gave up and living a fat, comfortable life and waiting for Jesus. I went to a Metropolitan Ministry meeting, the person leading a small group, DOESNT EVEN BELIEVE IN GOD, THE other a strong LGBTQ advocate. Let that sink in Thanks
