Its not just the cruise lines and their staff - the ports-of-call are all suffering from "de-tourism". The economies of many countries are taking a huge hit from the lack of cruise passengers. snip... Unfortunately in many countries, and now including ours with the socialist-communist American haters taking over, the Governments really don't seem to care abut the citizenry and the economic hardships they experience. -Tom

Tom, Thank you for so many informative posts re:cruises.
Hope we all can begin the great times on cruises soon.
There is no place I would rather be for 7 days in a row than on a 100,000 tons+ cruise ship.
