Sorry, I'm behind. In the past flights normally went to the McGregor Airport unless the plane was too large. When large planes would fly in they use the airport at Texas State Technical College north of Waco. Should be able to locate either airport easily.
The location of the ranch is near where the county line intersections of McClennan, Coryell and Bosque counties intersect.
ummm...and I just thought (duh) Fort Hood is quite near. The airport facilities are on the far side of Hood. But plenty of room for troops, holding people, secret things to go on.
TSTC campus was an AFB at one time. I went to school there back in the day when it was TSTI.
It even has a 9 hole golf course.
yep. - followed it all the way through and ended up at Ft Hood. Likely to help with “protests at state capitol” Austin just down the road
