"WE ARE IN ALPHA TANGO FOXTROT MODE RIGHT NOW THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS REPEAT THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS"

What was the context? Alpha Mike Foxtrot = Adios Mother F**ker. (slang greeting or a not so well wished farewell. Tango usually means target. So I don’t know, but there is a Santa Claus = There is a God
“WE ARE IN ALPHA TANGO FOXTROT MODE RIGHT NOW THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS REPEAT THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS”
Possibly: ATF = Armored Task Force (warfare game simulation)
SANTA CLAUS: Didn’t get what he asked Santa for at Christmas, so he’s telling himself, “There IS a Santa Claus, there IS a Santa Claus.”?
Alternatively, ATF also stands for Alcohol Treatment Facility.
Your choice.
Navy I understand, but I don’t speak much Army.
Alpha Tango Foxtrot for Navy guys usually meant Amphibious Task Force or Allied Tactical Force.
I think... could be wrong that their is an army/marine lingo for acquisition, tracking, and following... but a ground pounder would have to confirm.
of course there is a Santa Claus means someone is getting a present.
