My wife was a liberal when we met.
It took some years but simple questions and observations revealed the greatness in conservatism. She owns two businesses and both of her parents love me.
The same parents despise their other son-in-laws...

My husband was a Democrat when we married 36 years ago but the last Dem he voted for was Clinton. I thought Clinton was bad but I didn’t know how bad bad would get. He used to be fairly racist but not as much as he was. It was taught to him when he was little. I didn’t tolerate it so he’s mellowed a lot. He loves Trump!
