It’s only being debunked these days because most of the older memes still have GE included as owning NBC, but they divested (I think to Comcast) years ago. Outside that it is correct.
I’ve seen some kind of list that includes book publishers, movie companies, radio and TV stations, newspapers/etc, TV networks, music companies, and other stuff. Basically almost every form of media that gets into peoples’ eyes and ears.
