I remember that. At that time I thought it would be the last.
I think it’s also incumbent upon us all to leave our comfort zones and attend local political proceedings. I am in process of encouraging our children to become involved and run for local offices. All the kids live in small towns and these areas usually need people willing to become active.
I’ve also been encouraging some of the younger people in our church to become involved in the political community. I say these things about encouraging the younger because hubby and I are older. I strongly feel (I believe Holy Spirit prompting) that my place is to mentor. Yes, attend meetings, but more to help guide the next generations.
That’s just me. But I think each of us has a role. I know you listen to Scott Kesterson. Hubby and I have been using his “County by County” series to guide the kids.
